The TV anime “Tokyo Ghoul” is based on the popular manga series serialized in “Weekly Young Jump” since 2011, with over 47 million copies sold worldwide. Since the anime first aired in 2014, it has gained strong popularity not only in Japan but also internationally. Even now, 10 years later, it remains widely beloved and is currently available in 172 countries and regions. It consistently ranks at the top of anime popularity charts overseas. The opening theme song “unravel” by TK from Ling tosite Sigure is especially well-known, having been streamed over 360 million times on subscription services and frequently featured on Japanese music variety shows.

In the interplay of sound, color, and light, viewers witness the island’s ever-evolving cultural vitality and creative force. Through their work, artists inherit history and embrace the present, seeking the colors of Taiwan within an ever-shifting environment. Their creations reflect the resilience and regenerative power of culture.
